I know OCD consumes our lives, and I know that OCD is not funny but we have to find something to laugh at about OCD or else we will go crazy!
So Im starting a thread where we can all post funny stuff about OCD, for example something you did that you found funny and laughed at once the panic was over or maybe an OCD joke...The only thing is that it has to be clean and not at the expense of another OCD person.
So go right ahead and if you think this is inappropriate then go ahead and let it know :)

" Well, my husband jokes with me, like when we leave the house he will say did you check and see if the stove was off and I always tell him you DO not ask someone with OCD to check something for you unless you want me to be there 45 minutes and have an anxiety attack!
Humor helps sometimes. "

" well I find it hard to joke about my OCD but there is one thing that I find quite stupid... when I was younger I was scared of the number 9 because I thought it looked like an evil guy laughing... I know this sounds insane but try and write a 9 and maybe you might see what I mean... anyway I always had to rewrite it until it looked "good".... I still think it looks like a bad guy sometimes "

" This is a great idea!

My husband would purposly mess with me. You know the Box Tops for education that are on cereal boxes and such? I have to cut them out with precision. He would just tear them off and leave it.....and then watch me go nuts! "
