Has anyone had/have experience with using supplements for treatment of OCD? My husband has OCD and we are seeing little to no improvement with his current medication and therapy. I've been doing some light reading on inositol, GABA and the Omega 3, 6, 9. Every article I read says you will see more inprovement with these vs. meds??? Can this be true?

" i believe their are no 'natural' remedies for ocd. if your hubby has a real mild case of ocd, maybe he would find a very small amount of improvem, ent but it is mostly bs.

vitamins and changing my diet have had zero effect on me.

has your hubby been to an ocd specialist or just some loser generic shrink? has he tried ERP? what meds has he tried and how many? i would stick with what the top experts on ocd say is best: meds and erp. "

" Lots of times depression accompanies OCD and B vitamins are supposed to be helpful for that.

I take multi vitamins everyday and tend to think that anything that adds to a more balanced body will in turn help with a more balanced mind.

I hope you find something helpful! "
