Another member wrote a discussion for help with motivation. Maybe listing all our diverse reasons to lose weight will be helpful!
1. I want to have my diabetes go away. 2. I want to be able to do active things. 3. I want to stop being self-conscious in public. 4. I want to want to have sex again some day LOL. 5. I want to fit in normal sized-clothes. 6. I want to feel good in my body. 7. I don't want to be the biggest person at a gathering. 9. I don't want my friends and relatives to nag me anymore about my weight. 10. I don't want to be asked if I'm pregnant ever again. 11. I want to stop avoiding mirrors and even more, to like what I see in them! 12. I don't want to stay in a job or relationship because of my weight. 13. I don't want to lose out on job opportunities because of my weight. 14. I don't want to hear nasty remarks about my weight. 15. I don't want to dread flying because of my weight. 16. I agree! Hipsandcurves is great. I bought a couple of things there and was very happy with them. Congrats on being too small to order from them any more!!1

thank you for suggesting this. i think it is a good idea and can help motivate others to lose weight.
my list of reasons to lose the weight: 1. i want to be healthy 2. i want a better quality of life 3. i want to live longer 4. i want to get off high blood pressure medications 5. i want to feel good about myself 6. i want to be able to breathe easier at night during sleep 7. i want to be able to fit into a lot of my nice clothes i have 8. i want to learn how to deal with my emotions rather than use food as a means to fill myself emotionally 9. i want to be able to walk a reasonable distance and not feel winded 10. i want to be able to walk down the street without someone saying something bad to me because of my weight 11. i want to feel and look attractive 12. i want to be able to sit in some of my chairs without the fear that i might break them/wear them down 13. i want to lose weight so i can concentrate on building muscle 14. i want to be able to exercise easier 15. i want to feel like my real age (34) not feel much older than i really am 16. i want to feel comfortable in my own skin

I want to be able to play tennis. I used to love it.
I want to be able to do a wilderness hike in the mountains. I wouldn't make it half an hr right now. I would like to go back and do the cruise and activities I did in February....as a healthy, normal-weight person. It would have been a completely different experience: I would have swam to the waterfall others did....(they had to climb down a steep bank).... I would have danced more.... I would have felt different about singing karaoke.... I would have done more hiking...... I would have felt pretty in the clothes I wore.

What wonderful reasons all of them are reasons for you - not for anyone else.
I want to lose weight to have a baby but need help through IVF I want to enjoy the hot summer days and not dread showing my flesh. I want to shine in a room full of people not blend in the background. I want to be able to play and run about with my step son and neices/nephews. I want to go swimming without feeling like I'm being stared at. I want to eat without guilt. I want to have a fashionable wardrobe not a "Hideaway" wardrobe. I want to receive the compliments and not just give them. I want to be able to keep up with everyone else. I want to be the woman i was. Love to eveyone - we can do it ! Sal xxx

has seen this show called "Dance you ass off"? it comes on mondays at 10 o' clock pm. they play re-runs of the show at 8:30 pm. i saw the 8:30 show, i thought it waas very interesting and those people were brave for going out there to dance so they could lose weight.
