I see the commercials for Nutrisystem. My friend was on it for a long time and lost alot of weight. We were so happy for her. However, with the economy being what it is today, she eventually had to get off the diet and go it on her own. The problem I see is it never taught her to shop or cook healthy. She has no idea what was in most of the food she was eating. She has begun to gain the weight back and is devastated. I hate to see all her hard work go to waste. She has asked for my help and I will do what I can but she lost the weight without exercise or learning to portion control on her own. This will be a challenge for us both. They make tons of money and I do believe they help people lose weight but if your not prepared to stay on it forever you may be in a bind!

i tried to do diet dinners but it gt expesive and boring. i lost weight but yur right i gained it all back when i started cooking for myself. I was thinking about trying again so i'm glad i read this. Hope you can help your friend.
