has anyone taken this with any success? my doctor just prescribed it today and says it is a good weight loss drug , i am excited and wanted some feedback , the name brand is Adipex .

I didn't like it. Hard on my tummy. BTW, there's a weight loss surgeon hosting a chat room on www.myweightworld.com tonight , you can ask him questions about phentermine if you like....I was on this chat with him last week and it was really informative....just an fyi..

Hi Ami! I took phentermine for several months, but it had no effect on me. Everyone is different though. One of my friends takes it and it works great for her. She can only take 1/2 a pill though, because it wires her up and she suffers sleep loss. Sadly for me though, it was not the answer, even though my doctor keeps pushing me to take it again.
