Stretch Marks

I am about 5'6'' and my weight has fluctuated, from 160, to 145, to 205, to 170, and I'm now trying to go down some more. As a result, I have a lot of stretch marks on my stomach and sides of stomach, etc. My goal is to loose between 15 and 25 pound, however, my fear is that I will loose the weight and will still not be able to wear what I want because of my stretch marks. I just ordered some sort of concealer makeup for them for after I loose the weight. I really want to be able to wear a bikini and be comfortable. I've tried several treatments (exfoliating, lotions and creams, etc.) and nothing has really worked the way I want it to. Another fear of mine is that the marks will worsen from loosing more weight or who knows what. Any suggestions??? Thank you.

" I'm in the same position. I recently gained 15kg in a year and now have them on the side of my hips, and right down my inner thighs. Im worried about getting into a bikini this summer, and whether they will get worse with weight loss. At the moment i use Bio-Oil twice a day on them but i have no idea if it actually works, or if it suppoesdly works SO gradually that its literally doing nothing. Vitamin E oil? "

" my mum has the same issue as do i. i've asked my doctor if its possible to get rid of them an she said that vitamin E oil the pure stuff will help fade them however we wont ever get rid of them once we have them an its actually natural but still. she said they will fade in time an be unnoticable unless direct sunlight is on them an then you will notice the thin silver scar of a stretch mark. but other wise she said there is no way you can get rid of them but only help fade them. " Hi, I watched a program and they had plastic surgeons on and they said nothing gets rid of them not even plastic surgery. Tanning just makes them more noticeable. Sorry but your stuck with them. "

" Watched a program on tv last year which had 100 women blind test different creams for stretch marks... They tested the most expensive to the cheapest... As it turned out the winner was amongst the cheapest creams.... It was, "palmers cocoa butter formula massage cream for stretch marks... It has vitamin E, collagen and elastin.... I don't know if it works or not but thought i would pass on the info... good luck "
