Hi everyone,
I got my last round of CHOP on June 1st this year. I would say that I currently have about 1/4 inch of hair or so. However, I noticed that my hair on top isn't growing as fast as it is everywhere else. I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences with hair regrowth after chemo. I was reading some stuff on the internet and became rather disturbed. I had thick, curly hair before treatment and it is growing in brown like it used to be. I just want to know what to expect. dont worry honey... I did my last round in april. Everybody is different and so is my new hair. I had baby fine, very straight hair. Not so sure what color it was becasue it had been many years since i had seen the natural color..LOL
My new hair is VERY thick and curly and all different colors, black, brown and gray and some toupe in the front. It's just hair.... I had to loose my hair to save my life and I will be happy with whatever God decides to give me this time... NO MORE ROOT TOUCH UPS !

I am with my mother trying to take care of her. She is losing her hair... but is it suppost to hurt? She was saying she just wants to shave it all off cause it hurts. Her scalp is killing her... is this normal?

my hair hurt so fricken bad i can not explain. I shaved it and NEVER felt it again. It is the nerve endings in your scalp trying to hold on.... shave it and it will not hurt another minute.
ps - it does not hurt to grow back
