Would or could someone tell me the difference between Hodgdon, and non Hodgdon....for what I read they seem very simular....

They are very similar but non-Hodgkins is a more treatable one in my experience. but to be safe the next tim you see the doctor ask him and he will tell you what the difference is

From what I understand, Hodgkins is curable and Non-hodgkins is treatable but not curable. With technology, I believe in my heart that long-term remission is going to be the answer to all Non-Hodgkins suffering people. Hope.....

The difference between Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's disease is the presence of a particular cell called the Reed-Sturnberg cell in Hodgkin's which is extremely vulnerable to chemotherapy treatment. The cure rate for Hodgkin's is over 90% now.
There are several forms of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and the word "cure" is cropping up more often with the introduction of new therapies. You can find out more through your local Leukemia/Lymphoma Society or through their website www.leukemia-lymphoma.org.

Terrible to say but, not only can none of you spell, but neither can any of you have deeply researched in to any of NHD! Its a travesty that with SO MANY websites/booklets/books/access to doctors that you all seem so non-informed about the whole lymphoma/cancer thing. I am astounded! Look you all further. Make it your mission to absorb knowledge!

As a non-hodgkins lymphoma survivor and Leukemia/Lymphoma Society volunteer I know a fair amount about these diseases. The first thing we're tought is the difference between hodgkins and non-hodgkins.
