I had NHL in caecum 13 years ago.Now I see small hyper pigmentation marks on my hand.I had this type of marks when I had cancer.Now I see them again.I went to a Doctor ,he said It's better to get tested.Can anybody let me know if they had recurrence of NHL.I don't want to die soon.Please let me know.Also I read in the Net that if we undergo CATScan i there is a chance of getting Lukemia, is that true.

Please do get tested to be on the very safe side. Once we have had cancer, it is hard for our minds not to jump to the worst case scenario immediatly..but do not do that...it does not serve you any good. I will say though that I have never been told (and I have had many) that CAT Scans will give me Luekemia. I would have not done them if that was the case. I will pray for a good outcome for you!

I did see a report on the web from CBS news that a full body CT scan has a very very small risk of causing cancer from the radiation exposure. The higher risk of this was for people that required full body CT scans annually etc. You can see the link yourself here: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/200...
The small risk of the test very much outweighs the risk of not being checked out properly. Please do get tested and be on the very best safe side you can. It could really be nothing, and knowing that can bring you a peace of mind. Please do not sit in stress and worry, it is best to be checked out and know what is going on for sure. You must stay positive! That is your best fight in all these worries. Keeping yourself positive will help all other aspects follow! I wish you best and my prayers are with you.

I have follicular NHL and have had many many Cat, Mri, Pet scans, and thank heavens I don't have leukemia, and have never been told it was a risk. I fully expected a miracle and so far I am a walking miracle. Get yourself tested and don't worry. I would tell you to worry yourself silly if it did an ounce of good, but I can tell you from experience, that it does not do one bit of good, unless you like the feeling of significantly higher blood pressure. Always hope for the best! I personally put it in Gods hands and leave it there. I will be praying for you. P.S. I don't want to die either.
