WHILE I WAS AT THE ONCOLOGIST WITH SHELLEY YESTERDAY, THE DOCTOR DECIDED TO GIVE ME GEORGE'S RESULTS SO THAT WE DON'T HAVE TO WAIT TWO WEEKS FOR THEM! HE IS STILL CLEAR........SO THAT WAS GREAT NEWS. TODAY STARTED ON THE ROUGH EDGE. I WAS ABOUT TO LEAVE FOR KALAMAZOO TO GO TO THE CARDIOLOGIST FOR MY STRESS TEST RESULTS. THE PHONE RANG AND IT WAS CATHY TELLING ME THAT SHE WAS ON THE WAY TO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL WITH BRAYDEN. Just in time to start a great, happy new year!!!
I just found out today that I am done with my Rituxin treatments.
I thought I had longer to go yet, because I was counting my 2 years from the day my chemo stopped and I began Rituxan only. But they actually count from the day my chemo began 2 years ago (since I had also started Rituxan at that same time too.)
