We just got home from the surgeon's office. This doctor was awesome. I think it pays to have a woman doctor's input when it comes to something like breast cancer. She advised Shelley to go with the lympectomy and radiation. She said it's so early and so small that it is a bit premature to consider a mastectomy. I had the surgery, I think the part that I left out when I was trying to work through the anxieties is that when I had my heart stents placed I stopped breathing on the TABLE TWICE AND i HAD CONVULSIONS FOR THIRTEEN HOURS! Just so you all know...I survived the dreaded treadmill. In fact, they told me that I did better than some 20-30 yr olds....hehehe...and I know what kind of 20-30 yr olds they meant too...I wasn't really impressed! I was just sooooo happy to get it over with. Actually I did do very good as far as being able to go the distance.
