I have had fibromas removed before. Iam just a little nervous. It has been so long ago (1999) Deep breathe. The only thing I hate is (the bigger fatter ones) tend to bleed after the stiches are gone and sometimes that can be embarrasing...especially if it's on the back of your leg.Ladies you know what I mean.Anyways, wish me luck. I know I will be alright. It's just been so long, i forgot how long the recovery process takes. He said I should be alright to do the marathon in March. I hope so.

mo worries.....you'll be fine..its normal to feel that way.....I had several like that...the recovery all depends on the person...and how they heal.....I had a huge tumor removed on my head,,,the stitches made my head look like a base ball...just to give you an idea of what it looked liked.....I was in hospital for a week....then released ...when I got home.....I did my normal things around the house...but I had a drainage tube coming from my head....but it never prevented me from doing anything.....just recently had surgery on my foot....to remove 3 tumors....was an in office procedure...rested in bed that day..then was out and about....it all depends on the person...good luck with procedure...
