As you may know from my profile, i have nf pretty bad, with plenty of bumps all over.
I was wondering how people react to others on public transport, eg on planes etc, where you hvae to sit where you are told. I usually get stared at, but so far no nasty comments. I find myself less willing to travel because i do look like a freak. Posted on 10/26/09, 05:10 am |

what..get outta here....are you serious......my NF is very visual and I have a huge scare over my brow....where I had surgery....but my NF has never made me hide myself away ....from the world...or having fun...I have never had anyone treat me or react in a way that they would not want to be next to me.....and this is coming from someone..who had no encouraging words about my looks or this "condition"....growing up....dont stop living...dont let NF prevent you from .living and enjoying all this wonderful life has to give...I sound sort of corny...but my way of thinking is...if anyone has issues with what I look like is their problem not mine..and life is to short to allow anyone try to make me feel bad about my self......I found once I let down my guard down a little ...that there are people out there willing to love me for me.......
