I was wondering, I have been trying to treat my mood swings and depression for a long time, I never thought that NF could have been a part of that but I want to know if taking pills for it could cause any complications with my NF.

Your doc or pharmacist would be better to answer that. I'm just guessing that if your pills work with hormones that could make your NF worse. Just because like pregnancy and other hormones can wreck havack with it. Not that i think you are in danger of becoming pregnant. lol. But I think other hormones can cause problems as well. I wish someone would do a study on the effect of NF on depression. I really think there is a connection there. But I think a lot of us, me included, have undiagnosed depression. I mean, of course we are depressed! We have NF! But anyways. Hope things are going well for you. God bless.
