Yeah, trying to stay strong with Late Stage Lyme which is like totally disabling .. looking for treatment that doesnt exist in this area .. And then IKE .. of course no home owners insurance and a huge tree slammed ontop of my home. I just try and numb out .. its to much and Id literally go nuts with worry if I didnt go numb. FEMA is corrupt in my opinion, they dont have to answer to anyone and distribute funds unfairly and when questioned get very nasty and defensive. I didnt get enough to repair my crunched, mold ridden home, so on top of Lyme which is effects the immune system who knows what other damage is being done.
There is another program going on called Neighborhood Inc., very very slow going with them .. but their goal is to help those that did not get enough through FEMA to fix their home to condition before IKE through various sources...cant hurt to contact them. I live near Baytown, east of Houston, one of the hardest hit. All we can do what we can do when we are able. Contacting your rep's wouldnt help eiher...
