" I have just recently been diognoised with Naro and am not sure if it is part of narco, but I also have sore muscles and joints. My Knees and angles hurt so much at night that even on Xyrem I wake up with the pain. I am still having Cataplexsy in the early evening and if I fall from the cataplexsy the pain is intensifed. It must have something to do with the naro. I will find out because I plan to research everything I can about this disability. I also want to ask the average age for people who have naro,I am 47 and never had any symptoms of having this until just this past October 2008. My doctor says this is very rare. "

" I had that stuff when I was diagnosed but I believe that it was due to restoritive sleep deprivation instead of directly from the narcolepsy...because the biPac thing helps me sleep better and all that blessedly went away. The N interfers with your ability to get enough restoritive sleep...then that chronic lack of restoritive sleep has a cummunitive effect on many systems in the body "
