Night sweats

Last night woke sometime in early hours, wet with sweat, but not feeling particularly hot (must have been sweating while asleep). I quickly fell asleep again,& woke at 05:30, partially dry & cold, so had to get up & change. This has been happening for a couple of weeks now,& I remember having a few days of it just over a year ago, when began to think was going through the change. Has anyone had an experience like this?

" I was tested for peri menopause and the doctor said I wasnt in it.......he is full of crap. My oldest sister started going through it when she was 34. I have been having very irregular periods for years now.....sometimes I go 9 monthes without one than spot for a couple and than monthes again with nothing. I get horrible night sweats for well over a year as well. And he trys to tell me I am not in peri menopause.......
The thing that really helps with my night sweats is a supplament called menopause essentials. Its a supplament that has the black cohash in it with some other stuff. It has done wonders for me. There are all kinds of supplaments out there you can try.

Just be careful with the black cohash. If you have a heart condition it can make it worse. Usually the supplaments have just a very small amount in them and are usually safe you just dont want to take a bunch of it all by itself.
Hope this helps "

" It can also be related to stimulants. Especially when changing medication or dosages, I have increased severe night sweats. Although, yes, I'm far too young to be anywhere near menopausal, I have gone through a medically induced menopause years ago and continue to have periodic symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats, but not as bad as what happens related to my N treatment. I also sweat over the most ridiculously minor efforts... like doing dishes.

And whoever said sweating is the key to losing weight, LIED. lol "

" Yes it does help - thank you all. Am back to the GP on monday, so will bring it up then, & ask about the supplements & herbs. We can cope with anything can't we, as long as we know the truth. "
