Iggy suggested I join this group and it about time I did. I have been in the dark about what to do about my myofascial pain. I also have fibromyalgia. I do however suffer from knots all the way down both sides of my neck. In my temples and head. Down into my chest. Also down into between my shoulders. I never been given any help with this except to be told to rub them out. I have realized that between my fibro, myofascial has become a really bit problem also. It started to hurt so much I can't ignore it anymore and try to say it just fibo pain because it not. The only thing I was given was lidocane patches but I haven't had those renewed in a while. I think I should. The deep spasming and burning and tearing feeling is making me want to scream today. My muscle relaxants and Tramadol do just so much and I can only take just so much. I am very afraid of what happens because these meds are not working very well any more. Unfortunately I have been on most everything they will give me. So I need to get relieve some how.

" Thank you Zingara about your post on the heating pad. I have been overusing it for far too long. I put it on my lower back, then leave it there. When I realize that it's gone back off, I turn it back on. So, now I know the proper way to use it. Thanks again! "
