Myasthenia Gravis Support Group
Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a neuromuscular disease leading to fluctuating muscle weakness and fatiguability. Be well all,
Rest in peace, dearest Carla.
Love,
Rosie
They are looking at Thursday for the funeral arrangements at this time.
I asked him if there was anything he would like me let the members of this site know. He said this:
Carla received so much support from the members of this group. It was a long process of testing for her and coming to this site made her feel much better. She really enjoyed being in this support group and she got a lot of joy from her conversations and friendships. She loved her friends and shared about them to him often. She really appreciated people being there for her.
John and I also spoke about the peace many of her friends and family are feeling. We agreed that she has not gone far.
When Carla was in the hospital for some issues she was having last month she stressed the importance of not wanting people to worry. I know that she would want people to not stress about her passing. She would not want anyone's health to be affected. She worked hard to make us laugh. Her intentions were to give us support, love and joy. I believe her intentions are the same now.
Sending my love as well, Becca
My deepest sympathies to her family as well as her DS family. She brightened many days.
Carla you will always have a special place in my heart.
love Larissa
Carla really took to the group and shared as much as she could with everyone. I don't know that she even had MG, but she certainly had issues going on and we were happy to have her as part of our group. I reflect on a hug (moment of peace) she sent me in March:
"You remind me of someone who lived in the 60's although I know you are too young. I can see you at woodstock and ashford and whatever it was. I hope you and your wife are dancing today and tomarrow and from now on. lol carla"
You will be missed friend. My eyes are very watery right now.
I would very much like her to become part of our links page memorial to be immortalized with Curt and I will hope we will not be adding anyone else there anytime soon.
Sad day for the group. Let us all reflect.
Love,
Troy
It says:
"I did not realize how much I missed the sunshine until the sun came out again. LOVE IT!"
Lots of love and sunshine to you Carla!
Annette
I know you are dancing and singing and feeling whole.
Love,
