I'm at my wits end. I've been an Imuran for a while now and besides the usual side effects my hair is now horribly coarse and brittle. No amount of using fancy hair products, cutting it or a change in my diet seems to help. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help revive my hair before I'm bald???

" I don't have an answer about the hair changes but I did a lot of research on the MG drugs. You can find out more about this drug (also known as azathioprine) by googling the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists AHFS- Consumer Medical Information on azathioprine. You can also type in "azathioprine" under topics on the PubMed website. Thanks. Sarah "
