It all depends on your LTD contract. You must be totally disabled according to their definition. Doctors reports, etc are needed for proof. You may have to see their doctor. Some folks with MG have much worse symptoms than others, so it's never a yes or no issue. If you have a steady work record and now cannot hold down a full time job, file for Social Security Disability as soon as you qualify. You will be denied at first and must appeal. You may need to find a lawyer who deals with MG and SSD.
Best to you.

My daughter was recently approved for disability through social security. She had applied about 10 years ago and had been turned down. She has been able to work between then and now, but has not worked for about 3 years. She is having plasma exchanges about every 6 weeks. She has been hospitalized 5 times in the last year. She did not have to go through the appeals process because of the obvious problems. If you are applying for disability be sure to list depression if that is an issue. It is a disability in another area.

I just applied for disabilty in march of this year under the terms of MG plus being depressed and some othe issues that Im having. When they sent me to the shirk even the Dr said I need to seek a Consoler and get on meds to help with my issues I m afraid that Im going to have to go through all the appeals process and have to start it all over I dont think I can handle the stress of that, is there any thing that I can do to make it go quicker? or maybe a foudation that can help me, besides my attorney?
