" Do you have a diagnosis of MG? Did you have blood tests for autoimmune antibodies, and were they positive? Have you had a thymectomy? See Dr. Blair Marshall's recommendation to have one.

Are you on Prednisone? It can cause bad emotional side effects, depression or wildness. Be sure to have your thyroid checked to see if it is causing your low body temperature. Try to find something fun to do each day. Make a scrapbook of funny cartoons. Laughter is the best medicine! Hugs! "

" I was diagnosed a long time ago..But at that time (1987), I cried all the time. Looking back, it's completely understandable. I think I was in mourning, for the person I once was. It's been over 20 years now and I've adjusted nicely. MG and I are friends now..it's just who I am and I have all the confidence that the rest of you will do the same.. It's takes some getting used to and tears are all part of it. Anger too. I no longer have any depression issues at all, but at first I did. After my thymectomy, I had severe (untreated) depression, that I hide from everyone.. I didn't realize that the surgery can do that to you..
Best wishes to all of you newly diagnosed. Take Heart...It does get easier :) "
