My friend had 4 tumefactive relapses over 14 years, 3 of them treated with decadron. When he had the last one, they trapped him in the hospital and did nothing for him. He tried to leave but they restrained him. They stuck him in a corner and did nothing for him. When it got really bad he had a seizure and still they left him. Eventually he went comatose and they called his family (33 hours later) to say he was in the hospital. The doctor wanted to know if they would donate his organs. This was pretty disgusting because they made him get worse on purpose. They figured ah, this is your 4th tumefactive lesion, you've had enough medical resources. Let's take your organs.
The drs had to hide that they were harming him on purpose so they gave him no painkillers. If they had givenh him painkillers they would have had to say why he was in pain i.e. they were doing nothing to help him...
When he started to writhe around in pain, they paralysed him with that stuff (haldol) they give crazy people. This stuff doesn't kill pain just stops you from moving. My friend wasn't crazy. He was just in horrendous pain. He had ICP nine times the norm. That's a pretty atrocious headache.
This happened at the Toronto Western Hospital. His dr was Richard Wennberg and some others. There was a court case.
Anyway, these drs will let you get away with one or two relapses but then they fake your condition and make you look dead so your family says yes to donation. The cutting out of your organs will actually kill you.
Tumefactive is the best way for drs to get organs. The leison is big, and the edema, so if they leave it, it progresses faster than regular ms.
You guys are in great danger. I will come back and tell more if you are interested. My friend only survived as long as he did because his mother was a fighter. For the last relapse she wasn't told my friend was in the hospital until they had had their way with him.

Tumefactive MS also has a very low rate of recurrance and is more times than not a single occurance. Since I am a male, over 40 and only presented one lesion, the chance of recurrance is even lower for me. So much so that I do not have to take any other treatment other than 3000mg of vitamin D each day. I had dr. bernstein at Greater Toronto Western Hospital and he was fantastic with me.
Decadron helped it. His mother demanded it. Decadron is great. I wish they had given him some for the 4th one instead of letting him die. It was horrific but this is what happens now. Organ transplants are lucrative and these people try to get organs in very cruel ways.
BTW, if you get another lesion do not let them do a biopsy. There is no need. Biospsies are dangerous and they also use them to make things "go wrong."
Also, tell your dr you know about the incident at the TWH and the court case involving dr Wennberg and my friend. This way your life will be saved because they will know you know about the organ harvesting done on tumefactive people. Drs only kill when they figure the patient doesn't know. Most times this is true but you are lucky because I came upon this site by accident.
The fact that you have kids should also help you. My friend was single so drs saw him as not much of a loss. For his first lesion, the doctor was really nice like yours seemed to be, but their attitudes change, the more times you get a relapse. They also make it really hard for you to be diagnosed as suffering from MS. Disability costs, I guess.
Anyhow, be careful. This the nicest thing I can possibly say. It will save your life.
Oh watch out for Decadron in terms of bone damage. If you take it for too long, you will get necrosis of the hips. You only really need it for 10 days. My friend lost a hip. Dr Schacter at TWH prescribed it for too long at the time of my friend's first lesion.
The world can be a bad place.
