After going through a course of steroids I unfortunately put on some weight. Most of this weight is in my breasts. My cup size has gone up a full letter in a month. It kills! Most people would be happy with the increase in chest size but my back has been aching.
I have been able to shed most of the weight I gained on my stomach and hips, but I can seem to shrink my chest! What are some of the annoying side effects from steroids for you? Posted on 11/08/09, 11:11 am |

I'll share a funny side effect. I got track marks and was teaching a course at a college. I also got an ulcer and had gone in for a procedure and was doped up on meds and slightly loopy when I was teaching. I was wearing quarter length sleeves and my arms and subsequent track marks were visible.... My college students thought I was a drug addict. Hope that makes you smile. Though not funny at the time I can smile about it now.

My best friend's husband also has MS. When he was on steroids he got violent. When I was treated with them, my whole famliy was quite nervous what would happen. Luckily, I did not have any ill effects.
My hubby would have been thrilled if I got bigger boobs though,then he would live in denial about my back pain... lol

haha my boyfriend is pleased with the bigger chest. The steroids are killing me, it is like going through puberty for a second time! Acne, unwanted hair growth, moodiness
