I hope all read this thread. I got ON again yaving it twice already with no PAIN...I know pain is typical in ON but I never had it...this time I do, with the headaches that pain causes. I've been running around like a chicken without a head trying to stop that pain & headache.At walmart I looked for an ice pack thing I could put over my eyes & I found this! What a great product! I went and bough 3 more the next day. Two for me so I could always have on in the freezer ready to go & one for my sister and mom to try. I'm also doing 5 days of IV steroid, but this cold pack is WONDERFULL!!!!
It helps with the eyes, I used it before I went to sleep and after the coolness ran out I put a pair of night blinder thing ( like patch over both eyes that one can put over their eyes for darkness while they sleep.. Although I sleep in darkness having those patches over my both eyes, really help through the night. I couldn't believe how my eyes were in the morning when I woke up. They were great compared to the last few weeks. I started with a cold compress over my eyes then followed it with those night patches "blinder" things. I did get them at walmart. The ice pack is called 'Deep Soothing Sinus Pack Thermatherapy", its meant to clear sinus with but I bought it for my painful eyes. It helped with that and imagine me stuffy nose, claritin addict getting a clear nose out of it....I think I will finally get over my addiction to Sudafed/Claritin with this Sinus pack.. FYI,You don't need to download anything for that link. Its really gr-r-r-r-eat. I feel like a human MS form of 'Tony the Tiger'. It is really good.
$7 at Walmart. Well Worth it.

Thanks for posting this. I read it yesterday and then had a bad spell last night. I didn't sleep well all night, but when I woke early this morning I had the most blinding headache. The room was beginning to get light and I just needed to cover my eyes, but found my hand and arm too hot, so got a sock (!) and draped that over my eyes. I managed to get back to sleep for a while. When I woke later I was experiencing some funny visual effects - a little double vision that was coming and going. All I could think was I needed to get to the pharmacy and look for one of those cold eye patches!
I'm very aware that it's been a stressful week, which could be contributing. I've also got a very sore throat, so haven't ruled out this being a bug or something. Hopefully getting one of those cool eye patches will make sleeping tonight more restful. Thanks for the advice.
