A couple of things that I've tried to help nausia are ginger or
peppermint. But yes, marijuanna should help as well. Too bad it's not legal.

i do get relief (nausea) from smoking marijuana. It also helps my "nerves" and my appetiet when I can't get down food. I know it is illegal where I live but it grows from the ground. Id rather take drugs manufactured by God than Pfizer, Watson, or the rest...

actually, i totally agree with alliemarie. out here in colorado, it's legal with a doctor's prescription. great for spasticity, stimulating appetite, and avoiding the mental stress that will ALWAYS follow you until and IF they find a cure... i feel it is better for me and my family that i DON'T give money to the drug corps. there is NO CURE, so why go bankrupt while feding into a business plan based on binary code analysis.
donnainct, try out cannabis to see if it helps you! view it as a substance with MANY LESS harmful effects than prescrption drugs, alcohol, and tree-hugging "emotional therapies" (financial). plus, you wont have to declare bankruptcy while making multi-billion dollar multi-national corporations acheive "success" from your eventual demise... sorry if that was harsh. just the truth according to me...

Yes, I think it does help with many things. For me it is the only thing that helps my feet when they are throbbing in pain.
It is at least worth a try given that you've tried so many other things already. More and more states are legalizing it for medical use becuase it can be a big help when man-made druges (which marinol is) don't work.

I think that the pill form is a waste of time. I think that it is helpful, and look forward to the day that it is not the last resort. It is something that gives people with many medical complaints relief, and I think that something so simple just makes sense.

Smoking is way better than maninol pills. The maninol pills were a waste of time. They wanted something that was more like a standard prescription pill but its inferior to the real thing as is often the case.
There is no reason to wait to use marijuana as a last resort. Go ahead and use it as a first line treatment. It is practically non toxic if you can tolerate the subjective side effects which many people find pleasant. You can save your lungs the damage of inhaling tar and ash by smoking with a vaporizer instead of a pipe or joins. I suggest getting one from vapor brothers because they have a lifetime warranty and will fix it if it breaks. Eating it works too, but it can hit you way too hard if you take too much when eating it and it can last too long. Smoking is an easier way to control dosage. You should really be smoking marijuana anyway as it helps reduce the inflammatory response in the body as well as reduce spasticity and other MS symptoms. And yes, also try drinking lots of ginger tea or even try peeling whole raw ginger with a spoon and just chewing/sucking on it.

I'm in love with Mary Jane, she's my main thang. She makes me feel alright, she makes my heart sang........After my dx, in 2003 I decided to try cannibis for relief from nerve pain......It helps me with that and a host of other symptoms. I take the Marinol pills too. A 3 month supply of that costs a thousand bucks. Thank God I have a plan. They are not as good as inhaling the herb but they do help me with spasticity a little. I like the vaporizer and I smoke doobies as well. Legal.....illegal......who cares. In some parts of the world and in another time it is and was illegal for a woman to wear pants. Medical Marijuana is REAL.....the problem is......God doesn't charge to make it for us. Free medicine? This world can't have that! Me and Mary get together frequently but she has to remain my secret lover. lol

Smoking is much better. I no longer cane about by lungs. I just want the rest of my life in pease. . Not smoked pot in 5 years. In CA I can ask my MD for a RX and bring that to the police departmenr for an POT ID card. I think you must buy on the streets.
I am 64 post MS 21 years. It is no longer OK for me. Female do much better with this than men. I may be checking out for which I will be very happy. NO MORE MS. For that I will be very happy. Lou

My sister has a masters in botany and chemistry combined and she says that trying to extract just one useful component from a plant like cannabis is a waste of time because it has way too many chemicals in it that work together (synergy) and thus don't have as much or the same effect alone as they do together. Smoke it! It helps everything for me!
