has anyone tried meclazine or dramamine? did it work? i am geting up everyday at 4 am throwing up and dizzy, cant stand it anymore, i just dont want to be to sleepy from taking something either. but if i take it before bed would th edrowsiness ware off by morning since that is when i start getting nauseated?

" I would ask your doctor to call in a prescription for meclazine since you can take a higher dose of that than over the counter dramamine. I've taken both, but I think meclazine worked a little better for the nausea. You could also get phenergan if the nausea is really severe, but I'm not sure how often you need to take it. Neither the dramamine nor the meclazine helped my vertigo or dizziness since mine is caused by MS, but it did help with the nausea. Take care.

" I love meclazine which does not make me over tired... I admit that my problems do not sound as severe as your though... Dramamine puts me fast to sleep so I don't often take it...

Also, PEPPERMINT is nature's meclazine--I know I always have peppermint gum or Altoids when I'm on a long car ride... Definitely consult your dr or neuro, but peppermint certainly won't hurt!
