now that i have your attention, a question for you all please:

do you notice an increase to your symptoms after you have smoked weed?

i don't have any pain, but the pins and needles and the numbness can feel increased, or become more noticeable, after i smoke. maybe i'm just more observant? :)

anyone else notice this?

" Sometimes I feel more inflammation--sometimes more pins and needles. I just smoke less. You could try that? "

" I had stopped smoking for a while, my "habit" had become...a little hooch and I wanted a cigarette and that really made things worse, now I only smoke if I know that I am "done for the day", certainly does not make walking any easier, often it is simply used right before bed as a "sleep aid" HA! works pretty good too...

damn MS, I loved my hooch!!! :)

" This depends on what sort of marijuana you are using. Cannibis sativa can make the tingling, etc. worse. Cannabis Indica is known for more calming effects.

I hope you know what you are getting. If it is a sativa, you might get all sorts of unwanted effects that others may like. Why I'll never know!

I hope you are able to get this legally as this is the best way to obtain it if possible. :) "

" I think the marijuana just makes you more aware of your body. Marijuana is an anti-inflammatory, so its GOOD for you to smoke. It suppresses the immune system and also helps slow/prevent cancer at the same time.

A few things to consider....The cannabinoids in Marijuana are anti-inflammatory but smoking in general is inflammatory just from the burnt particulate matter. Do not smoke joints. A water bong is ok, but getting a vaporizer is best.

Sativas are more stimulating and Indicas give you more of a 'body high' and are better for pain and sleep. Sativas are for getting stuff done in the day time and Indicas are for evening. Avoid caffeine, especially with sativa to avoid anxiety.

Marijuana is not likely to worsen nerve inflammation, it should help actually. However, it can elevate blood pressure and heart rate by a bit. If you have high cholesterol or a circulation problem it might make it worse.

I suspect that its either circulation related or an increased awareness of your body, but thats just my opinion as I am not qualified to diagnose you. "
