for the past 2 months ive been sitting in my house and my girlfriends house doing nothing but basically playing "why me?". its stupid and i hate it. these past 4 days ive been getting out and being basically active. tonight i even jogged a bit. ive decided that im not going to let a disease that i may or may not have defeat me before i even know stupid test results. ive even noticed that symptoms that ive have sort of go away after im done doing something active(minus the ON of course). i have a tattoo on each wrist, one says "INVICTUS" and the other says "MANEO". its latin and translates to I REMAIN UNCONQUERED. im going to live by that no matter what comes my way. i will keep everyone in the loop on my progress.

" You've got the right idea!

The best advise anyone with MS could get is to live you life the best you can!

So many just sit and dwell on every little bodily function. Act as if everything is a symptom of something negative. Others try to figure out what herb, twig, or supplement might help.

Truth is, live the best life you can, one that will leave you with no regrets is the best thing you can do.

Good luck to you my friend! May your life be so full of wonderful things, it's difficult to decide what you'll do next! "

" Im really happy for you that you have such a good attitude about this. Im still just trying to accept all of it. Course, I cant do anything, so all I do is just sit around. I need to still try to accept this even tho I cant do anything. Im really glad that your not going to let this get you down. Good for you!!!
Good luck. "

" I always figured a better way to look at MS is not sit around thinking "why me, why me". My way of dealing with this has been to change the question from "why me?" to "why NOT me?" When I look at all that I have been blessed with, I live in a great country, I HAD a wonderful job at the time I was dx'd. My kids were grown and nearly grown. I dont know what the future has in store for me healthwise but I have since found a wonderful partner (who also has MS) we understand each others needs as a result....so why me? Because my little ms is nothing compared to my GREAT BIG WONDERFUL life. (even with the occasional double vision or incontinence and tingling feet) :o) Its all about the attitude. "

" Get back on that bike and right. I made the same choice. It's just a condition. The choice is ours. It takes a while to accept it and then we move on. There's too much going on out there. Go out and enjoy. Though I still hate this shit. Life goes on and so will I. "

" A friend of mine sent me a saying that I have in my office that says "Life isn't about waiting for the storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain." "

" no other way to do it. i had a friend tell me that i was being a little too cavalier about this whole thing. are you kidding? i asked? what am i suppose to do, suffer before anything really happens? i love life, and damn it i am going to keep moving. i had plans, and i am going to keep on moving. just little bit slower and with a lot more concern. " I was talking to my doctor and I told him I really don't care about a diagnosis as long as he can keep me active and working by treating my symptoms. I do care but the point I was trying to make is I need to stay active and keep working so if he can do something to keep me that way I can wait for the ultimate diagnosis. Living in the moment and keeping moving is the only way for me I would never let it keep me home and inactive. Good luck with all you do and it can't conquere your attitude if you don't let it. "

" As a long time MS survivor, I know that maintaining physical activity is important & I force myself to hobble aroud for 20 minutes every other day, like it or not. I use my IPOP
most of the time to make it fun. "
