Just cried!

Something happened to me yesterday, and wondered if this happened to anyone else?

I went to the library yesterday, and after I parked my car, and got out it happened. This women ran past me, and I started crying like a baby! I couldn't stop. She then stopped, and asked if I was okay. I told her I was, and just was crying because I would never run again.

Sorry to be venting, but I hate MS so much. It took part of me away, and makes every day a living hell.....

" You are so not alone. I have been crying off and on in my car for years, not to mention home etc. After years of "why is this happening to me" and I mean the way life has turned out, and alot I think has to do with health problems, that you just accept or don't think you have, cause like ppl on here have lived with MS for years and didn't know what it was.

Mine would be alot of sensory problems, and spasms, that were mild, so didn't know what it was.

I hope you can focus on all the good things you also have in your life and I'm sure you do. Hope you feel better. "

" Same thing's been happening to me more frequently the past few days... I HATE it, cause even as I type, I wanna cry, but I have NO reason to, except for the fact that I hate how this disease makes all of us feel and there's still no cure. "

" I understand how you feel. I have cried about my limitations too. I used to be the strongest athlete in my school. Then my favorite thing to do was salsa dancing. Then beach vollyball. Now I spend 3 days a week in physical therapy. I don't know if it helps but sometimes when I get down I think about the kids that are born unable to walk and never had the opportunities that I once had. I know it hard to think about but for some reason it makes me happy I at least had the fun back then. "

" MS can knock us down, kick our ass and make us tired. But, it dosn't mean it's gonna win. I refuse to let it beat me. I have a wife and three kids to take care of. If it knocks me down, I'm gonna get back up. If I get tired, I'll take a nap. If it kicks my ass, I'll lick my wonds and start over. That sounds gross, maybe I'll skip that part. But, tomorrow's a new day and I'll get a fresh start and so will all of you.
It's gonna be a sunny day today. Get out and enjoy it. "

" Yes, I can relate. I can never run, I can't fast dance, I can't wear high or semi-high heels, I can't stand beyond 15" at a time, I can't browse malls for hours. We have a lot of losses with this ugly disease. And I doubt there will be a cure in MY lifetime, and even if there were, how to undo the damage already done? Yes, I hear you.....): "

" I cried all day yesterday. It started before I was out of bed and even before I heard the news of Farrah and Michael Jackson. When I finally heard about them, I was crying out of control! It goes with the territory and I too hate this disease but try to make the best of it but some days are so much harder than others!! ooxx

" This crap stole my life as I knew it. My health, my career, my income and a huge chunk of my self confidence and self esteem. So just remember, next time you are hating the MonSter, I hate it with you as do many others. But in spite of everything, I always try to wear a smile and laugh whenever I can, I also try to share that laugh with soeone else... laughs are even better when they are shared.

Here's wishing you a laugh and a smile! ;}-~ "

" Thank you for posting this topic, and thank everyone for responding. Because I thought I was going insane, and I KNOW I freaked my wife out the other day. Out of the blue I burst into tears and manic laughter at the same time. It lasted for 30 minutes and I couldn't stop.

and RiS, it's OK to vent. We all need to. Thank you for sharing, you're helping us all realize we're not alone. Speaking for me,at least, that really helps. "
