I have had a weird pain in the back of my ankle on each side of the achilles that starting husting Thursday night. It went away on its on and then last night at the ballpark, it started when I was walking. I have taken Advil, elevated it and had a heating pad on it all morning. I can't put a lot of weight on it. I have not sprained it, fell, or anything over the last week. In fact, I was in the bed all day Wednesdat recovering from a business trip. I guess I will be calling my neuro on Monday and trying to see what he says do. Any advice or does this haappen often? This is a first for me.

A foot specialist saiod that I had pronating feet & prescribed me inserts. My feet felt great until reciently. Now I have tire, sore and achy feet. If you happen to find any relief please ket me know! "

" My left knee is killing me. I cannot run at all, I have walk very slow. All I did was sit on the floor to do some paper sorting, I got up and it felt a little wierd, like it needed popped back in or something. That was 3 weeks ago and it still hurts a lot. I didn't think it was my MS, but now I wonder... "

" My 12yo DD has this exact thing, now this past 3 wks where she has been better than ever these last 4 mos. Her ankles would be killing her in the AM, and then better, especially after a bath. She also had one time where the bottoms of both feet hurt all day. She is the one still unDx, but it is interesting that you mention it here, since I was really thinking MS wasn't the issue, until she started having neuro symptoms. "

" I have been struggling with anlke problems for years. My 1st nuro said that my ankle trouble is from stress. Then I went to an orthopedic surgeon who found a huge hole in the bone from my cartlage breaking down. They call avascularnuerosis. She thinks it is from the MS my 2nd neuro said he has never heard of problems with ankles and feet. So I am on my way to UT Southwestern MS reasearch specialists. My orthopedic doctor wants me to go there. I have days where I cannot walk from anlke and foot problems. "
