" Hello
I responded to you in another post where you said you crawl out of your skin. Did you ever research restless legs? low potassium is a possible cause. Also it isn't just the sensation of needed tomove(like described on tv) it can be agonizingly painful. "

" I had a friend with this problem and the Dr. told her to eat a banana everyday. She couldn't take the high doses but the banana helped. "

" I have a potassium defiency, as well as the B's, I've learned. I was hospitalized when I was pregnant with my son because my potassium went down so bad my electrolytes went haywire, even with the mega-prenatals. I got five bags of those killer IV potassium before they reluctantly let me go home. I was told to become close friends with potassium rich foods because I apparantly had a deficiency, but never speculated on the cause of it. "

" I was told by people in another group that the IV steroids can lower your potassium. But, I had a blood test about a week after an IV treatment, and my potassium was high, so check with your dr also. It may be a side effect of the solumedrol. DD "
