" What kind of foot cramps?

The ones that come on fast and make your toes all bendy, or a different kind? "

" My Grandfather years ago swore by putting wine bottle corks in a stocking at the end of his bed under your bed covers. You never know it may do something. "

" Yes, the ones that come on fast and make my toes go in some funky positions... hurt like mad! So, what's up with the quinine... drink it all the time, or just at the time of the cramp? "

" You know, enigma, I have suffered with leg and toe cramps for most of my life. Recently I was on prescription potassium pills (it was as a dietary supplement, short term) and discovered the potassium connection with leg cramps...it stopped them completely. I no longer am on the pills, but really watch my diet, load it up with high potassium foods: fresh spinach, mushrooms, bananas, tomatoes, potatoes, apricots, there's many more, but not coming to my mind right now. I am having great success with this. In fact, when I don't eat high-potassium foods for several days, the leg/toe cramps return. Good luck, hope this helps. "
