I was just wondering if anyone has heard of the medicine for MS it is suppose to help with the pain in the ribs and lower back pain. I am suppose to start it next Monday just wanted feedback on it before i start it. Thanks Kimmie

" Hi Kimmie... i take a load dose of 1200mg for epilepsly... have been on it for 6 -6 1/2 years now...
Alot of seziure meds are used at lower doses for nerve pain...
Not alot of side effects with carbamazepine....and i would think that any that i experienced would be different as the load dose for you should be much lower.. brand name of this drug is also know as tegretol...
if you want anymore info let me know... "
