Work from home jobs?

So I went to see Neuro with my atty regarding SSDI and I have to wait for such a long time and if I get on anyone's payroll I will surely not get any help. I can do something from home a couple of hours a week but not sure what to do. I have a legal degree and my last job was a prep cook. Does anyone have any ideas. Finances are pretty tough and high medical costs are doing me in. Ugh! MS is getting worse......

" Is there any reason why you couldn't use that degree at home? I believe the limit to what you can make on disability is $700 per month.

During this time, you can surely research options. I'd think with a J.D. or similar, you might have quite a few possibilities available to you.

I found that it was real easy to start racking up the expenses. There is assistance for getting MS meds - I don't use any of the meds anymore. That's a really long story though. I feel much better without any of that.

Try to avoid stress. You can offer legal advice from home for a few hours a week for sure. Everyone needs legal advice. I decided to go back to school with grants and am hoping that when I finish, I could start setting my own schedule and eventually go off disability.

You'll probably get lots of ideas here. Every now and then there is an MS study going on where they pay you to journal or something. I've been in two of them.

Wish I had some ideas for you. "

" Look into liveop.com. You work from home. You answer your phone when people order things. Example....someone orders from jcpenney and they call the 1-800-#. You are the person who takes the order. You work for many different stores.

You need a business phone line and a computer.

My friend made about $2000. A month. You work any hours u want. "
