My left side is weak and sometimes I am not that balanced when I walk or go down stairs. I recently fell on my head again going down the last step, I actually fell on my left side of my face and my head hurt all day and then the next day too. This is not the first time and I am srue it is not the last time that I will fall on my head. I am just wondering if anyone knows anything about this subject and how many times is to much for falling on your head.

" I dont think theres an exact number on too many times falling on your head.... Depends on how hard you knock it. in other words once can be enough!

Either way you need to do whatever you can to protect your head. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.. Falling is no good regardless. Please get help with the falling. "

" Hello. I was falling 3 times a day at one point. I realized that it was my foot dragging slightly and catching the floor, the stair, whatever. My PT got me to but an x-strap which holds up my toes. It is a marvel. Easy to use and I have not tripped since. I guess the first thing to figure out why you are falling then figure out a solution. One day you are really going to hurt yourself, and there is enough to deal with as a person with MS without a broken appendage. "

" My wife fell on our steps a couple of times. We final got a stair lift. Best investment we ever made. She loves it. Be carefull with the walker. If you balance is really bad you can still fall. My wife was using a walker, fell and broke her wrist. It has made everything a little more challenging. "
