I have been posting on my blog about a retreat I went on last week. I had an extremely healing experience. i would be honored to share it with you, if you want to read about it. dear shen,
i havent been around the board for a few months and just now saw your post and read your blog entry. way back when, a group i was in was doing "identificational repentance" as a way to heal wounds between groups of people (different races, religions, genders). sounds a lot like what you did, and boy, is it powerful! i'm so glad that you found a safe, willing, loving group. and that you had the strength to allow them to take the place of your father and ask for what you needed. you are working so hard for your healing, there's no doubt in my mind you will fully attain it!
