I have a couple of them to share.....
1) This time of year, Dollar Tree sells a bin full of sweaters....for ONE DOLLAR EACH!!! Some of them are decent quality, and a few of my favorites are from there. I just bought one today that fits me perfectly, just what I wanted to wear over my other clothes for extra warmth.....now that I've looked through them, I'm letting you know!!! LOL!!! 2) Also, I used to tediously use tweesers to pick lint and stuff out of velcro when it stopped sticking like it's supposed to....and discovered that a flea comb (which I have found to be useless to comb out fleas, at least the tiny ones in our area) works great for cleaning velcro loops. I think they should start marketing them as such, they'd make a zillion dollars.....but sshhhhh....our little secret ok? What clean little secrets do you want to tell about? great idea fishy - i have a flea comb too, no fleas but strung out velcro! lol
ok. toothpaste isn't just for brushing your teeth. it will take black marks off of tile floors easily with toothpaste, it is also good to remove stains from white boards. and a cheap, effective bug remover for your vehicle is baking soda. make a paste, put it on, no rubbing - kept it damp - i use a cloth, like a compress - then hose it off. in late spring it is a necessity here when the 'love bugs' come out, yuk! last one is a product - lestoil. it is the best paint remover i've ever used. it will take off decades old paint i swear. just be careful it will remove ALL paint. it will even remove paint from fabric, often after it's dried. i guess it stinks? i can barely smell it but it works, on brushes, or painted surfaces very well and isn't too expensive. it's difficult to find in fl, i get it at publix and ace, you can locate it by going to clorox's site, they manufacture it. so now you know all my clean little secrets =)

Spill oil everywhere whenever you have to pour some in that little hole hidden down on the side of your lawn mower ??
Take a pour spout cap off any syrup, ketchup or similar sized bottle and screw it on the quart oil container and squirt away. Most even have an attached cap to seal it back up when your finished. People want to call me obsessive for cleaning my Velcro watch band and other fasteners. Guess they don't read DS very often. Tom S. in Tn.
