Does anybody have an idea of the connectedness of MM and family history?
I am a farmer, so am in one of the higher risk groups for MM. There is no other MM in my family other than myself, but I'm wondering if my children are at a higher risk of developing this disease. If so, does the increase risk warrant taking any corrective action? Posted on 10/07/09, 04:10 pm |

■Family history – while most patients have no affected relatives, those with an affected sibling or parent are four times as likely to develop the disease compared to the general population
Avove ripped off City of Hope website Odds are still rather low, might be good to keep on top of annual physicals and blood tests with SPEP Tom
