Is anyone experiencing pain in feet and ankles ?

I am turning 49 years old tomorrow and have been living with MGUS since I turned 40. I did eventually get Multiple Myeloma two years ago and went through treatment. As a result I developed pain in my feet and ankles. I can't even wear heels like I used to before being treated.
I did go to a neurologist and the Dr. did some treat with electric wires and stated that 3 out of my 4 main nerves were very damaged. I don't know what else to do.....I still work...I am a first grade teacher. I need some advice Posted on 09/24/09, 10:09 pm |

For myself I have decided that I really don't care if my feet hurt (which they do) because I am thrilled that they work properly and don't send me falling down the stairs or stumbling on uneven surfaces. I do have the option of getting off them as needed .
Have you tried any of the drugs- Lyrica or Neurontin?
