Is there anyone who was told they have deletion of chromosome 13 or any other abnormalities on their FISH test. I have both deletion of 13 and 4(14) mutation. I was right on the fence between smoldering and full blown myeloma. Since the FISH test we have decided to start treatment. I just went on REV/DEX this past monday. Would like to hear from others with same and find out what ;your course of treatment was/is.

" Sorry it took me so long, Terbear. Yes, my husband has abnormalities with his C11, & 13. They are partially missing or misformed. This all happens at the DNA level and the immunity that doesn't catch the abnormal mutations. At least that's what I have read. But there is hope with a bone marrow transplant. "
