Just wanted to make everyone aware of something I found out today. I was told not to drink any green tea while on Valcade by the nurse. She said it was recent findings within the last 3 years and the green tea actually blocks the valcade from working.

" The study was done a few years ago and involved a rather concentrated form of green tea in an extract very rich in catechins which are powerful antioxidants.
I switched over to teas with a higher oxidation when I read the reports and was taking velcade.
I doubt a cup of green tea will make very much difference, but a cup of the extract would probably make a bathtub full at normal teas strength. "
