" I was on Betaseron for 4 years when I started to develop injection site infections, very unpleasant to say the least. I switched over to Copaxone which I am still taking. It has been over 6 years and no flu like symptoms at all!!!
Everyone is different!

good luck
Sharon "

" I've been on Betaseron for years. Does anyone, besides me, remember when you had to be in the drug lottery and hope you could get on Betaseron? It was like the flu shot, they couldn't make enough fast enough.

My MRIs say it's still working for me. I'm still able to do anything I did before my dx with MS 16 years ago. I'm one of the folks who feels if it ain't broke, don't fix it. It's worked well for me. I'm just glad there are more choices for all of us! "

" I was on Avonex for about 7 years. It stopped working for me, so my doctor put me on Refif. I caused feelings of depression to become greatly exagerrated. About that time, we moved and I changed doctors. He put me on Copaxone, I haven't had a relapse or depression since. It'a all a case of try several different drugs, then stick with the one that works for you. Like MS it is all a custom disease and custom traetment that works for you. Don't neccesarily listen to other folks concerning what works. Listen you your own mind and body for what works for you! "
