I am NEVER out of pain, I take Gabapenten and Vicodin 4x a day and it helps but on a scale of 1-10, I go from an 8 before I take my meds to about a 3 or 4 afterward.

What else can I do to decrease the pain? I have to use a cane because the pain and weakness in my legs is so bad that I need the extra support

I have tried soaking in hot tubs, non weight bearing exercises, swimming, massage and nerve blocks (didn't help at all, just hurt more)

Im getting so frustrated and more depressed about living the rest of my life in pain.

" I have some minor pain as well but nothing on the scale that you are going through. I empathize with the depression you feel about spending the rest of your life this way. All I can say is that I have found that practicing japa mediation has helped me a great deal. There is a cd you can get on Amazon, ebay... called MEDIATIONS FOR MANIFESTING by Dr. Wayne Dyer. Hope I was able to help. You are in my family's prayers. "
