I'm taking an Avonex vacation and going for the LDN. I'll get around to contacting my neuro....sooner or later. I think the Avonex is actually killing me as it fights the MS. I've heard that the 'cure' can be worse than the disease and I think I understand this statement much more than I would have wanted to! At any rate, I'm hoping that the LDN works well. If nothing else, maybe I'll get the placebo effect.

I suffered with avonex for 5 years. In retrospect I think I lost a big chunk of my life feeling lousy from the shots. Its hard to justify that isn't it.

I'm also going to try LDN..I've tried EVERY treatment out there and they ALL made me worse..(couple almost killed me and the rest made me relapse even harder) I thank you Larry for sharing LDN info and such..Maybe you'll be my God Sent and actually find something that works..

I am on LDN and have stayed the course and not given up right away...this stuff works...works better than any of the CRABS and wow....wish I had known about this before my second relapse....glad I have it now....I have energy...my short term memory is badly damaged though from the MS and don't know how to recover from this but just keep going....LDN is not the overnight magic pill that makes things go away....BUT it is a pill not shot that helps you sustain yourself with this dreaded monSter!!!

Is LDN avaliable in Ontario and under what name. I want to ask my Nero about it. I currtently take Beta Seron at $1,640 per month. Why don`t pharmasuticals want you to get it, $15.00 per month or $1,600. You figure it out. Sometime I think Dr.`s are in on it with the free trips to the Caribean.

Naltrexone, as used for drug addicts in 50 mg pills is available online from canadian pharmacies. I found it by doing a google search. All you should have to do is get a script and go to a compounding pharmacy. they will break the pills into a capsule for you at the the low dose.
