" But Dr. Bihari just retired last year, he had plenty of time and opportunity to write in a peer read journal, but he chose not to and that is why a lot of people are leery of his work. All I said was if he had just done trials like other doctors, we would all know if LDN was really the Godsend you claim it is. "

" I don't question Dr. Bihari, I'm just Grateful he's done all he's done all these years. I'm grateful David and Joel brought LDN to the web. I'm grateful for the two who've come before me in the info chain, how I found out about it, and how it all panned out. And I'm grateful my parents taught me not to live on ceremony.

Reminds me of that old flood story. "

" The Great Flood

There was a huge flood in a village.

One man said to everyone as they evacuated, "I'll stay! God will save me!"

The flood got higher and a boat came, and the man in it said "Come on mate, get in!"

"No" replied the man. "God will save me!"

The flood got very high now and the man had to stand on the roof of his house.

A helicopter soon came and the man offered him help. "No, God will save me!" he said.

Eventually the man drowned.

He got by the gates of heaven and he said to God, "Why didn't you save me?"

God replied, "For goodness sake! I sent a boat and a helicopter. What more do you want!"

LDN is a boat and could be a helicopter... "

" Well, as Ronald Regan said, Trust but Verify, in other words, it’s ok to trust people, but I always cut the deck. I just think people need to know all sides and not just the one side you portray; people should do their own homework. If you just ask around you can find someone here on DS that had a very bad exasperation after multiple months on LDN, and they will tell you that they did it as prescribed. I just think that you should tell the whole story, but like I sad, people can and should do their own homework and make an educated decision about their treatment. "

" Well, you've stated your side very well. I don't have a side, only my own experiences and that of others I've gotten to know well through the years. That's why I mainly talk about ME, my Dad, Brenda, her mom and her grandmother.

Brenda works with the failures if they're interested.

http://ldn.proboards3.com/index.cgi is her forum

In 2003 I was a loud voice with LDN. Nowadays I'm just Another long term patient taking it. Except for it saving my dad's life last year.

In addition to the cancers, Crohn's, Autism, and Psoriasis seem to be having great successes too. MSers are now background users, we're old news. "

" I am sorry if you think there are sides here, if I am on a side it would be the side of truth, maybe you just misunderstood my posts. The reason I know about the people that LDN did not work for is because I am doing my homework, and I would hope that all others are doing there homework also. You have also failed to mention here that there are a few trials going on right now or have just ended that should give us real answers about LDN very soon, I hope and pray that they will show LDN to be all it is claimed to be, I have already talked to my Neurologist about LDN and we are just waiting for the trial results to be published. I for one will stay on my Avonex until then, I understand that you have never used any of the other MS drugs available, and of course that is your choice and there is nothing wrong with your choice, we all make them and live with them. I just hate to hear you put down these drugs; it was just a few years ago that MS sufferers had no options and now they have several, you may not like the other options but they have helped hundred of thousands of people and those people are very grateful to have them. Of course that statement leads me back to where I started this reply to your post, why did Dr Bihari not publish his work back when millions suffered and there was no other option, that is where the problem started, but here we are full circle. So sorry you misunderstood my reply, I am just trying to help as you are.

" some people live on the negative, some prefer the positive. I only have me, and now, my dad's, story as Fact. Everything else is conjecture. Considering you can't trust any positive reports, you can't trust the negative ones either.

For all I know, all LDN failures are poisoning themselves with something that reacts in them that they're unaware of, or would be in Denial of, if someone told them it may be bad for them. So people suffer on their own.

Show me as many Successes with the CRABs as you can Failures with LDN.

As I said, MY worst day(s) since 4/17/2003 have consistently been better than any days in my memory from the beginning of the century til then.

Also, all things considered, your animosity of me, Personally, kinda jades anything you say nicey nicey here. :)

I wish you all the best on Avonex, I won't OD on ibuprofin before and after those shots, Either.

Caveat Emptor, eh?

You need a Prescription for LDN, just like the CRABs.

Or rearrange the letters and I'm on a No CARB diet.

Namaste "

" My Animosity toward you, you are a very funny guy Larry. I have not here acted hostile or mean or even negative, I am merely stating a different point of view, do you not believe anyone should ask questions or put the facts out for all to make a educated decision about their life. If I have said something that was not true or mean spirited please do tell. I have read many posts of yours where you disagree or have a different approach or treatments or whatever, you have no qualms about posting your views, why is it you get so negative when others post theirs? " Not in this thread, true, and this isn't the thread to discuss it. I think enough information is now available and all the links necessary are in the first few posts. You delete my hugs and comments in your journals, so there's no point continuing that venue. HAND :) "

" You are right, this is not the place, but since you mentioned it I will have to say that the deleting of your replies to my journals and hugs were because of your negativity, not mine. I tried several times to ask you to stop being so negative to others that shared different views then you, but you kept lashing out at them. It was not until you went ballistic because people were eating chocolate and not listening to you that I decided life was too short to deal with people like you. You were trying to tell woman to stop eating Chocolate and getting mad when they said no. You need to reevaluate that idea or at least be ready to take what is coming when you say something like that and not have a hissy fit about it. But that is a different issue from the LDN, I am trying to learn all I can about it and was trying to make this a real discussion, because, this is a discussion board. I am not afraid to ask real questions and will always keep asking until I get real answers.
