I see above that LDN will help treat prostate cancer if untreated. What type of treatment would make low dose less effective?
Any input would help because we are currently looking into what type of treatment for my husband to take & this will have to be decided soon. He has been on LDN for awhile, but it has not helped bring down PSA,

LarryLDN,
I don't believe the Chronic Disease Fund (www.cdfund.org) gives assistence by taking into account your financial situation (they asked me what I could manage for a co-pay). Good-luck. Larry

sorry, darcie, didn't see this til now. radiation seeds would make it less effective, but I do believe there'd still be some benefit regardless.

Casmira, what shot? I get LDN from Skip's pharmacy and it comes as capsules. I do take Copaxone shots with my LDN (Copaxone is the only FDA approved MS drug that works with LDN.
LarryLDN, keep up the good work about getting the word out for LDN. I cannot imagine why a person wouldn't take LDN and Copaxone as Copaxone is just as effective as ALL the other MS drugs. Larry

What we have done to bring down the cost of LDN down to a fraction of taking caps from a compounding pharmacy is this..
Get 50mg tabs & make them into liquid which we take with a baby dropper. Now the cost per month is $24.00 down from $120.00.

Darcie,
I get 90 4.5 mg caps for $65.35. Seems a lot simpler and certainly less complicated. I get them from Skips Pharmacy, by mail and that price includes postage. Why complicate things unless you have some reason to believe that taking it in liquid form is a benefit? Larry

Well, since our finances are tight, $24./month
us (two people) is the best way to go.
