Hi I have been to this sight before. I have fibro since 1994 and have had problems as of three yrs ago. I have had ms ruled out again as of two weeks ago. my mris are clean, emgs normal. i also had myasthenia gravis ruled out w/blood work and emg. I am so tired. they say i have tongue fasciluations now and my neuro is totally puzzled. He said i have some discs that may be affecting my spinal cord, however no compression or stenosis. I think he is grasping because I wont leave him alone. Ha. I have severe hyperreflexes, twitching, stiffness, cramping when stretching, tingling, mouth pain,i jerk sometimes etc., i dont know if this is just fibro. i used to be able to manage my fibro with exercise and now if i walk around the block my body is not happy. Sometimes i get such a wiped out feeling like i have the flu and i have to stay in bed. I feel so week. It happens about 6 tx a month. I try to pace myself and know what i can and cannot do. My neuro has recommended 4ap because i have ms symptoms and it treats spinal cord diseases. he originally thought it was ms until my tests came negative including lumbar puncture. I just do not have the clinical, but have all the signs except eye problems which is a big plus, I would appreciate any input about 4AP. thank you in advance, gina

I have MS and take 4AP, It is wonderful and has given me my life back. There are no side affects like other drugs they give us for staying awake. Your insurance will not cover it. You have to get it from a compounding pharmacy where they make the pills for you. The monthly cost is $32. Hope this helps.
