My mom passed away in january she was living with a guy in her home for a year and a half and now hes taking the house because he put about 20,000 dollars if that into it my dad paid for that house but my mom being the trusting soul that she always was put the house in her boyfriends name and now hes taking it they wernt married what if anything can I do Im still grieving for her and now this just kick me while Im down someone please help

First of all, I'm sorry about your mom! Second, I really don't know much about legal issues but if the house is in her boyfriend's name I don't think anything can be done about it because legally it is his. Third, remember that this is going to be a difficult time for you so be careful with your decisions.. make sure you think things through. Hope that helped a little!

Talk to an attorney. I am a paralegal. If the "paper work" says HIS NAME ONLY, unfortunatley there won't be much you can do, unless there is a will stating otherwise. I hope this helps. Know that God has a plan and that you will be blessed. It is so hard to deal with grief and death, but know that I have been through what you have been through.
