My husband and I recently found out that our house could be forclosed. Our mortgage company has been good to us. Only problem being is now we received papers from the lawyers stating we now have a court date to go to. We need to have a lawyer also, our mortgage company doesn't understand why the lawyers office has proceeded with this after our mortgage company has told them to wait. My husband who works 15 days straight before he is on his days off is the only one that anyone will talk to. I am not on the deed so they will not tell me any information. I am in a spot now where i am scared and frustrated and most of all i feel alone. Can anyone tell me if this is the way they handle things and what is going to happen next.

" Your mortgage company needs to be the one to call off the dogs. The attorney will continue to persue the matter until they do. Have your husband call the mortgage company ASAP. "
